Aakash Mohpal

I am a Senior Economist at the World Bank's East Asia and Pacific Chief Economist (EAPCE) Office. I am currently based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I received my BA in Economics and Spanish from Middlebury College, and MA and PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. 

My research fields are development and labor economics. Current interests include topics in health, education and political economy.
